Our agency has all the products and knowledge you need to navigate the Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare “Advantage”, and Medicare “D” sometimes called PDP (Prescription Drug Plans) offerings. Look to us during the “Open Enrollment” period beginning October 15th through December 7th of 2012 for information regarding choices of Medicare PDP and Medicare Advantage plans for 2013. All those already enrolled in a PDP (prescription) plan or Advantage plan can make assessments (during the open enrollment period) of their coverage and costs to see if renewing or staying is the best for the upcoming year in 2013. This opportunity is also available for those under age 65 enrolled in Medicare disability.
California still has the “Birthday Rule” whereby someone enrolled in Medicare with a Supplement plan can (on their birthday month) switch to another “like” or “lesser” plan with no medical underwriting. One can simply go to a less costly plan and have no interruption in coverage(s). For example, if you have an “F” plan with company A, you can switch to another carrier’s “F” plan should you desire.
